Hosted within your school grounds, we can support your primary school with a range of ideas and resources to help make the day into something your children will remember forever! This can be a full day of activities within your school, involving every single class, or simply a lesson focused on fun and career inspiration. As a school, you have the flexibility, just like “World Book Day” to celebrate in a way that is right for you and your children.

Starting careers education in primary school can tackle issues around social mobility. Creating an environment that builds the confidence needed to dream beyond gender stereotypes, socio-economic backgrounds and images from social media. Careermap are actively supporting primary schools who want to get ahead of the game. We provide resources and inspiration for activities to help teachers start the process of thinking about what the future could look like – and we want our young ones to DREAM BIG!

Each year, we will also be proudly presenting the Dream Big Day – Pearson School Of The Year Award, given for best practice, inspiration and innovation, where the winning primary school has the opportunity to enjoy a “Dream Big Day Out” for its students and families, sponsored by Merlin Entertainments.

To be entered for this prestigious annual award, simply upload your own school activity plan for the day by May 1st 2024. The winning primary school will be announced 28th June 2024. Good luck!
